BPA has events happening year-round...
IMC ClubThe BPA hosts a monthly IMC Club meeting to promote instrument flying, proficiency, and safety. Join us to learn and chat with fellow pilots about challenging everyday instrument flight scenarios. Local pilot and aircraft owner Eric Rubel, CFII, does an outstanding job of moderating these informative sessions, providing a platform for pilots to discuss real-life IMC scenarios, work through potential pitfalls and solutions, network and share knowledge and experience.
IMC Club is conducted in-person and via Zoom the first Saturday of each month at the Port of Bremerton building at Bremerton National Airport. Participate in person, or click the button below to join the Zoom meeting. Session will open a few minutes early to allow participants time to get linked in. NEXT SESSION: Saturday, March 7 at 10:00am
(winter hours)
MARCH TOPIC: how to integrate the new tech tools available (including dynamic approach procedures) to improve our situational awareness while flying IFR. We'll use an IFR approach scenario as an example. Discussion will include risks (those "gotcha's" ) and benefits of the technology, along with some tips and lessons learned.
If you can't make it in person, you can always join us by zoom:

Also watch for...Formation Flight Clinic
We host the annual Northwest Formation Clinic. This well attended clinic historically draws pilots from five western states and Canada. It is the premier west coast training clinic for Beechcraft Bonanzas (and a Mooney or three) in preparation for the formation arrival at Oshkosh Air Adventure. Those interested can expect the event to take place in June of each year. This year's Formation Clinic took place in June. The clinic is, in part, preparation for the nationwide Bonanzas to Oshkosh mass arrival. On Saturday afternoon, July 19, 2025, approximately 130 aircraft in the Bonanzas to Oshkosh fleet comprised one of the largest mass arrivals at AirVenture 2025.
