Youth Aviation Scholarship Fund
The Bremerton Pilots Association is offering a $3500 scholarship for young men and women in the greater Puget Sound area who have the desire to obtain a Private Pilot License. This Scholarship is made possible by donations and fund raising activities by the Bremerton Pilots Association and friends of aviation in the community.

How to Apply for a Scholarship:

This Scholarship is made possible with donations and fund-raising activities by the Bremerton Pilots Association, the Port of Bremerton, and friends of aviation in the community.
Funding Structure
Students who are awarded a Scholarship must begin their training within 30 days of the award and pass the Private Pilot Checkride within 180 days.
A $3500 check from the Bremerton Pilots Association Scholarship Fund will be presented to the student on successful completion of the requirement above. At the discretion of the Scholarship Committee, an extension may be granted for extenuating circumstances if this request is received in writing prior to the 180 days deadline. |
Eligibility
Young men and women who are at least 16-1/2 years of age, and who have not yet reached their 30th birthday, are encouraged to submit an application.
Applicants 30 years of age and older will be considered on a case by case basis depending on availability of funding. Applicants must reside in the greater Puget Sound Area. Selection Criteria:

Applications are accepted year-round, and are processed in the order received. The Scholarship Committee meets regularly to review applications. Successful candidates will be invited to interview in person or by live video conferencing. |
